- What is the difference between MR, BWR and BWP plywood?
- The letters describe the glue. MR (Moisture Resistant) is for dry interiors. BWR (Boiling Water Resistant) handles everyday damp such as a kitchen. BWP (Boiling Waterproof) is for places where water sits, like under a sink. The grade tells you about the glue, not about how well the sheet was made.
- Is BWP plywood completely waterproof?
- BWP glue survives boiling water. The sheet still has edges, and unsealed edges soak. Waterproof means the layers will not come apart; it does not mean the sheet can be left standing in water.
- Should I use plywood or MDF for a wardrobe?
- Plywood holds screws and weight better, so it suits shutters, shelves and anything that carries load. MDF takes paint and routed profiles beautifully but does not like water or heavy hinges. Many homes use both, in the right places.
- Why does PLYWORTH not give prices on the website?
- Plywood prices move with the market. A number published today can be wrong next week. We quote the current price directly, on WhatsApp or on the phone, so what you are told is what it costs.
- Do you pay commission to carpenters or designers?
- We have never given a commission. The price you are quoted is the price of the material.
